# getWeekDays

This function returns an array of weekday names.

**Syntax**

`getWeekDays(short)`

**Parameters**

* **short** (boolean, optional):
  * If `true`, returns an array with abbreviated weekday names (3 letters).
  * Default is `false`, returning full weekday names.

**Return Value**

* An array of strings representing the days of the week.

**Examples**

```javascript
getWeekDays(true); 
// ["Mon", "Tue", "Wed", "Thu", "Fri", "Sat", "Sun"]
```

```javascript
getWeekDays(); 
//['Monday', 'Tuesday', 'Wednesday', 'Thursday', 'Friday', 'Saturday', 'Sunday']
```
