# .has()

`.has()` checks whether a list contains a specific DOM node.

elementList.has(node);
```

* `node` → DOM element to check for

boolean
```

#### Example

```js
const tabs = $('.tab*');
const activeTab = $('.tab.active');

if (tabs.has(activeTab)) {
  console.log('The active tab is inside the tab list');
}
```
